Three great ways to buy used books and support our mission:

 

​Shop year 'round at our downtown Westport independent used Book Shop, at 23 Jesup Road, right across Jesup Green from the Westport Library.​

Shop with us online 24/7 at our eBay store.  New items added regularly.​

Shop at one of our periodic big Book Sale Events.  Our next Big Book Sale will be May 16 through May 19, 2025 in the Westport Library.  Visit Our Events page for more information.

Our nonprofit organization is dedicated to supporting the Westport Library and adults with disabilities through our book sales and book donation center operations.

​

Since opening, our Westport Book Shop has provided over 10,250 hours of paid employment and job and workplace skills training for more than a dozen adults and young adults with disabilities.

​

In fiscal 2024, we donated $60,000 to the Westport Library.

​

There are many ways that you can help. Donate your books. Share your talents and expertise. Volunteer at the Book Shop or at a Book Sale Event. Make a charitable contribution.

Bring your book and vinyl record donations to the big grey Book Donation Center in the Westport Library's Upper Parking Lot. Open Monday thru Saturday from 9am to 4pm.  Closed Sundays, and closed any day the Westport Library is closed.

​

Plan ahead: the Donation Center will be closed from Monday, May 5, 2025 through Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in connection with the Big Spring Book Sale.
